She conducted literature reviews of debates about the use of trigger warnings since 2013 ("the year of the trigger warning") and explored current approaches to engaging with both the problem and potentials of trigger warnings.

Row's research focuses on the use of Somatic Experiencing at the university. Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-based approach to healing from trauma. Row's work reviewed existing research about SE in a pedagogical context and suggested ways in which SE techniques can be incorporated in the university classroom to aid learning.
